Trail Building Week 2026 - Getting Molini Ready for another season
Well… the dust has settled, the tools are back in the shed, and the trails are officially ready for the season ahead.
Another legendary Trail Building Week is in the books - and honestly, we’re still smiling about it.
Every year, a group of riders heads to Molini di Triora not just to ride, but to give something back to the trails and community that make this place so special. It’s hard work, dusty work, occasionally back-breaking work… but it’s also one of the best weeks of the year.
And this year’s crew absolutely smashed it.
The Numbers Don’t Lie
≫ 330 volunteer hours donated by our guests ✌️
≫ 0 injuries 💪
≫ Terre Rosse, Agrifoglio, Partigiani & BikePark reshaped 🌲
≫ Enough pizza consumed to feed a small village 🍕
≫ Constant supervision from the trail dogs 🐶
Over four days of digging, shaping, repairing and clearing, a huge amount of work got done across the network. Berms rebuilt, lines refreshed, winter damage sorted and countless small details taken care of before the season kicks off properly.
A lot of this work often goes unnoticed when you’re riding - and honestly, that’s kind of the point. Good mountain bike trails should just flow. But keeping them running takes time, effort and a whole lot of community spirit.
Why This Week Matters
Trail Building Week isn’t just about maintenance. It’s about looking after the place we all love riding in.
The trails around Molini di Triora exist because people care. Because locals, riders, businesses and volunteers continue to invest time and energy into keeping the Molini mountain bike trail network alive and evolving year after year. Weeks like this are a huge part of that.
And beyond the trail work itself, it’s also about community. Shared dinners, tired legs, dirty hands, post-work rides and a group of people from different places all coming together for the same reason. That’s what makes this week special every single year.
Thank You 💚
A massive thank you to every volunteer who joined us this year. Your energy, hard work and good vibes made this another unforgettable edition of Trail Week.
And of course, a huge thank you to the local community for looking after us so well throughout the week:
